Follow the listed steps to turn 2-step verification on
- Go to settings on your WhatsApp
- Click on Account
- Click on Two-step verification
- Enter 6 digit PIN
- Re-enter PIN to confirm
- Input your email address
- Re-enter your email address
- Add and click save
- You are done
DO NOT use your first 6 or last 6 digits of your phone number as your PIN. Keep/write your PIN at a safe place. Now WhatsApp will ask you to enter your PIN anything you open your WhatsApp.
