How to create Ecobank virtual Card. Virtual cards are online VISA prepaid cards created instantly on the Ecobank mobile app, with which you can perform online payments. It comes in two types: shopping card and gift card. Shopping card comes at a cost of GHC5 while Gift card comes at a cost of GHC10. Shopping card is valid for 12 months while Gift card is valid for 3 months.
The maximum number of shopping and gift cards you can have at a time is two (2) and five (5) respectively. The maximum amount you can have on a shopping and gift card is GHS5,000 and GHS1,200 respectively. However, your daily loading limit for shopping card is GHS5,000.

Kindly take note: Customers will be unable to transfer funds from your virtual card to your account. Funds can only be credited to your account if card is deleted. Cards deleted/expired cannot be retrieved/renewed. You will have to create a new card.
