Asutifi North MP, Hon. Patrick Bannor Donates 1000 School Uniforms And PPEs To Schools In His Constituency
The Member of Parliament of Asutifi North Constituency in the Ahafo Region of Ghana has presented 1,000 school uniforms and 4,800 masks to the Asutifi North Education Directorate.
The presentation went on at the district capital of the constituency, Kenyasi on 22nd of February, 2021 in Ahafo Region.
According to Honourable Patrick Bannor, the mission of the donation is based on the promise he made during the 2020 election campaign.

He said, he promised the good people of his constituency of helping school pupils with school uniforms if he wins the parliamentary seat. Fortunately, he won greatly and he has come to his constituency to fulfil his said premiere promise.
He added, he has not forgotten he told his constituents when he wins, his first visit to the constituency will be fulfilment of the school uniforms promise and here they are.
He told the district education directorate to share the uniforms to all pupils who may need especially the government school pupils. He is doing this to help boost the educational interest of pupils who lack uniform or their uniforms are in bad state to have maximum enthusiasm and good learning minds at school.
He added 4,800 masks to the donation because of the current health situation of Ghanaians. He hinted, Covid-19 is real and the school authorities should endeavour to make sure all school pupils and staff put on mask in and after school always.
The Head of Human Resource Department of the District Education Directorate, Mrs. Paulina Azambawu accepted the offer and stood in the shoes of all and confered thankful expressions and promised the district directorate of education would make sure the items are shared well and supervises the applications of the items as well.
