Ghanaians were monitoring how the case about the killing of major Mahama will end in court. On this faithful Monday 16th May 2022, court finally closes docket on the case. But the inside story is very surprising.
Ghanaians can recall that, Major Mahama was lynched to to death by unknown men and woman in Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region of Ghana. At the initial stage, about 25 people were drag to court. But subsequent evidence proves the innocence of some of them and they were left with 14 in number.
The 14 alleged killers of Major Mahama finally speaks in court today as the case was coming to an end. According to the young men, they have no hand in the killing of Major Adam Mahama therefore, there is no need for them to be jailed. ” We have No Case – Alleged Killers of Major Adam Mahama Tells Court”.
The surprising issue is that, if the young men are claiming to be innocent, who then killed Major Mahama?. According to the presiding Judge Mariama Owusu, the lawyer of the 14 alleged murderers should together with the young men must appear before court next week, as judges are going to review their submission of no guilt for the final declaration of the case.
